Dit blijft sindsdien onrustig in een plaats. Vanwege een Koerden in de andere landen blijft autonomie voorlopig iets dat ver weg is. Onafhankelijk met elkander bestaan een Koerdische regio’s te zwak om zelfstandig te zijn en een overheersende landen Iran, Irak, Turkije en Syrië laten deze strategische landstreek’s ook niet zomaar kunnen.
